What is Dtravel?

Dtravel is a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) for vacation rentals with a token model to incentivize growth and reward participants who engage in peer-to-peer short-term rental bookings.

Built using the Nite Protocol data standard, search queries display listings that are owned or controlled by vacation rental operators themselves rather than OTAs. Insead of booking through Dtravel, travelers and property owners exchange value peer-to-peer. This model eliminates the costly fees associated with centralized marketplaces.

AI Search

Leveraging multiple data sources, including the Nite Protocol data standard, Dtravel’s AI Search opens up new possibilities for how travelers can discover, book, and pay for vacation rentals. By using AI, travelers can create personalized travel profiles that consider their preferences, past trips, and travel goals. For operators only using centralized marketplaces and those without existing direct booking infrastructure, Dtravel makes it easy to create standalone onchain listings or a complete direct booking site. In a matter of minutes, a property owner can connect their Airbnb or property management system (PMS) account, sync their calendar and start processing bookings peer-to-peer. Crypto Payments
